What is included in every Akari roaming photo robot package?+
Every Akari package includes the roaming photo robot, GTA delivery to your venue, full setup and teardown by our operator, unlimited photo sessions during your booked hours, a private online gallery, and digital download links for every shot. The robot itself — 4K camera, ring flash, large touchscreen, and LED base — is identical across all three tiers. What changes is the duration, print size, and branding options.
What is the difference between the Essential, Signature, and Premier packages?+
Essential is 3 hours with 2×6 photo strip prints and digital download links — the compact entry to the Akari experience. Signature is 4 hours with larger 4×6 prints plus instant SMS and email delivery to every guest at the moment of the photo — this is our most-booked package. Premier is 5 or more hours with 4×6 prints, full custom branding (your logo, event name, and graphic design on every print), and a dedicated on-site attendant included.
What print sizes are included and are prints unlimited?+
Essential includes 2×6 photo strips — the classic format guests love. Signature and Premier both include larger 4×6 prints that look premium in frames and on walls. Print quantity is unlimited across all three packages for the full duration of your booking. There is no cap per guest or per hour.
Can I extend my roaming photo booth rental duration at the event?+
In most cases yes, subject to operator availability that evening. Extensions are priced per hour and must be confirmed and paid before the extension begins. The cleanest approach is to book slightly more time than you think you need — adding an hour on the night is straightforward, but it is not always guaranteed. Let us know your event schedule when quoting and we will advise accordingly.
Do all packages include a custom print overlay or branded design?+
Custom print overlays — your logo, event name, date, and graphic design on every print — are included exclusively in the Premier package. Essential and Signature use a clean, unbranded Akari template. If you want branded prints on a shorter booking, contact us for a custom quote. We can usually accommodate this depending on design complexity and lead time.
How does digital delivery work and which packages include instant SMS and email?+
All three packages include a digital download link so every guest can save their photo from any device. Signature and Premier go further: guests receive their photo via instant SMS and email at the moment it is taken, before they have even left the spot. Every package also includes a private online gallery delivered within 48 hours of the event, which remains accessible for 30 days.
Is there a travel fee for venues outside central Toronto?+
GTA delivery is included in all packages. This covers Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Scarborough, Vaughan, and the surrounding region. Venues beyond the standard GTA service area may carry a small travel surcharge — we confirm this upfront when you request a quote, so there are never any surprises on the invoice.
What is the deposit and cancellation policy?+
A deposit is required to secure your date. The deposit amount and cancellation or rescheduling conditions are confirmed at booking and set out clearly in your contract. We strongly recommend reviewing those terms before signing. If your plans change, contact us as early as possible — in most cases we can reschedule to another date if availability allows.
Can I upgrade my package after booking?+
Yes. You can upgrade from Essential to Signature or Premier at any point before your event, subject to operator availability and the price difference between tiers. Downgrades are handled case by case depending on timing and your contract terms. Get in touch and we will sort it out quickly.
Are packages available for multi-day events, trade shows, or conferences?+
Yes. Multi-day bookings — including trade shows, conferences, product launches, and multi-session corporate events — are quoted on a custom basis. The Premier package is the most common starting point, but we build bespoke quotes around your specific setup, daily hours, and branding requirements. Call or WhatsApp us with your event brief and we will turn around a proposal quickly.
Is the roaming photo robot rental accessible for guests with mobility limitations?+
Yes. Because the robot moves to guests rather than requiring them to walk to a fixed booth, it is naturally inclusive for seated dinners and guests with mobility limitations. The operator can bring the robot directly table-side or to any location within the venue. If you have specific accessibility requirements, let us know when you book and we will accommodate them.
How is guest contact information handled and can guests opt out of digital delivery?+
Any contact information a guest provides — phone number or email for digital delivery — is used solely to send that guest their photo. Akari complies fully with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Guests are never added to any marketing list without their explicit opt-in, and every guest can choose to skip digital delivery entirely and keep only their physical print. No coercion, no hidden sign-ups.
